From a lion's point of view. From the dense brush I stared, looking at the hunters, prowling. Waiting for them to move and then following like a shadow. I made virtually no noise, not audible for the hunters at least. After a short time they stopped and signalled each other, with whispering and hushed voices, that their next prey was near. I couldn’t understand them, they spoke a completely different language from my own, but after years of observing, I learned some of their absurd body movements. The hunters were looking at an elephant that was calmly drinking from a nearby puddle; its silvery (almost snow white) tusks shimmered when t
